Shaft made of hickory wood

Despite the total length of the hand axe of only 24 cm, the shaft is ergonomically shaped and made of hickory wood. The wood has a high density and is very resistant to impacts. It is also resistant to moisture, which makes the axe your ideal companion even for longer outdoor use. The surface has been treated with beeswax to make the axe even more water and dirt repellent.

What should be taken into account when caring for the hand axe?

If you look after your hand axe carefully, it can last a lifetime and even be passed on to the next generation. To maximize the lifespan of your tool, always store it in a dry place. If it is not being used for a long time, you should protect the metal with cooking or gun oil, such as Ballistol.
